Reflection: As your skills improve, it can be tempting to focus on achievements, awards, or recognition. However, the greatest martial artists remain humble regardless of their accomplishments. They understand that there is always more to learn, another lesson to discover, and another opportunity to grow. Humility allows us to receive instruction, respect others, and appreciate every stage of the journey. It reminds us that martial arts is not about proving we are better than others but about becoming better than we were yesterday. A humble heart continues to grow long after pride has stopped learning.

Question to Ponder: Does my attitude reflect humility as much as my technique reflects skill?
